The quirks might include:

– Unusual color for the wood (especially light colors of walnut)
– Mismatched handle tones between left and right handle-half
– Wood grain irregularities or scrapes

These saws are perfect for those who value performance and sustainability over perfection. Functionally flawless, mechanically identical, just with a bit more character.

Handles with extra character

These saws have some minor cosmetic quirks—like mismatches between the colors of the two handle halves or logotypes that are too light, too dark or unevenly burned into the handles. Apart from that they are in top condition and by choosing one of these saws, you’re not only saving money but also supporting our mission to reduce waste.

Just as for the normal saws, the oak is sustainably sourced. A pronounced stop at the back ensures a secure grip and efficient power transfer as you pull the saw. Each handle is finished with linseed oil, a traditional treatment that protects the surface and enhances the wood’s rich tones and natural beauty.
